This poem was written by Laura's keyworker Rosa who looked after her at her respite unit where she went once a fortnight for a sleepover she loved it there especially Renuka her banana, this poem makes me cry eveytime i read it thank you Rosa and thank you for allowing me to share it with all her friends and family. The Silence of The Night This is not a dream I'm gone but still with you forever I can hear you whisper but i cannot reply The sky is blue the stars are shining upon your eyes What can you see? You cannot see me but you can feel me I'm the blue sky and the stars reflecting in the distance You cannot see me but i can see you You are sad please don't be, smile at me don't make me cry I'm sad when i see your tears and the tears of those close ones left behind. I haven't left you i have just parted away where there is no pain and no stress, I could not carry on i was called to rest. Please don't cry carry on having fun the way i did until my last breath I see to many tears, you miss me and i you but keep having fun the way i did My love is not finished i will never leave you i have now become your Guardian Angel as i was called to do Life was fantastic I enjoyed the good days and even on a bad day i still smiled and tried to enjoy myself.
